Viewing the Chinese text
If you see something like this when you click on a hexagram:

it means you need special software to view the chinese-language characters.
It should look like this:

Browsing Chinese text on the World Wide Web is possible for most hardware and software combinations. The remaining information on this page is organized by the operating system your computer uses, and by the browsing software you're using. Internet Explorer 3.0 Chinese Language kit for Windows 95. Internet Explorer 3.0 has its own special version for viewing Chinese pages. It works well, it's fast and easy to install, and it's free from Microsoft (see link below). Start up Explorer. From the View menu pick Options..., then on the General tab click the Font Settings Button. Set the Explorer default encoding to Chinese Big5, and pick the Ming Li font for both proportional and fixed-width fonts. Download here



Apple Macintosh Chinese language kit is an add on program available from Apple Computer. It runs "on top of" the English-language MacOS. (List price approx US$140)
